This recipe goes back to Medieval times, when the Medici family used to serve this delicious blend at the end of their banquets.
Cantucci, or cantuccini, is a biscuit made with almonds originally from Prato, Tuscany. This traditional Tuscan biscuit is enjoyed as an after meal dessert, typically combined with either Vin Santo wine, espresso or cappuccino. Farinolio’s cantucci are baked fresh daily with imported flour and almonds from Italy and they are meticulously packed one by one.
An olive oil with an intense fruity flavor, very low acidity, a nicely bitter taste and a brilliant green color. Farinolio is the only importer of this delicious olive oil produced by the agricultural estate Talente in San Casciano Val di Pesa district, in the province of Florence, Tuscany. Olives are picked by end by mid-October when they are not fully mature yet, then they are pressed within 24 hours in the estate olive mill.
