Since 1882, Olivieri has produced one of the best Pandoro in Italy. For many Italians, it is considered the rival of Panettone, so much so that families are usually divided into Team Pandoro and Team Panettone. Pandoro is a star-shaped cake made only with butter, eggs, wheat flour, and vanilla. It has a refined flavor and an extremely soft texture, given by a long and complex proofing process and a recipe developed and perfected over the last 140 years. It can be enjoyed as it is or accompanied by a mascarpone cream (or any sweet cream you can think of). For the best and most delicious flavor, we suggest heating it up a bit before serving it.
