Bibite Polara

Sicilian Sodas

In 1953, in the Baroque town of Modica on Sicily's southeastern tip, Peppino Polara bottled his very first gassosa, a crisp, lightly sweet lemon soda. More than seventy years and three generations later, the family still follows those original recipes, pairing them with carefully chosen ingredients and modern production. Every bottle is meant to capture a sip of everyday Sicilian life: sun, citrus groves and an unhurried afternoon in the piazza.

Made in Sicily

Sicily is one of the world's great citrus islands, home to blood oranges, fragrant lemons and bergamot grown in volcanic soil under a generous Mediterranean sun. Polara draws on this abundance, using Sicilian citrus, including fruit carrying protected IGP and DOP designations, to give its drinks a bright, natural aroma. Modica, a UNESCO World Heritage town known for its honey-colored stone and storied chocolate, remains the company's home to this day.

Old Recipes, Fresh Ideas

Polara's classics carry the flavors Italians grew up with at seaside kiosks and corner bars: gassosa, spuma, chinotto and tonic water, made with natural ingredients and recipes handed down through the family. Alongside them, the company keeps exploring, with organic citrus sodas, drinks with no added sugar and Polara '53, a line of premium tonics and sodas designed for modern aperitivo hour.
